The Saskatoon Sheiks were a professional ice hockey team in the Western Canada Hockey League and Prairie Hockey League from 1922 to 1928. The team was based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, except for the end of the 1922 season, when they played in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan.
The team entered the WCHL in 1922 as the Saskatoon Crescents. By the end of the season, poor attendance forced the club to move to Moose Jaw as the Moose Jaw Crescents on February 3. The team was back in Saskatoon the following season. In 1925 the team's owner changed the name to the Saskatoon Sheiks in honour of the hairstyle popularized by Rudy Valentino in film. In 1926, after the WHL collapsed, the owner moved to Oakland with some of the players and operated a new team as the Oakland Sheiks in the Cal Pro League. At this time a new team carried on as the Saskatoon Crescents.
While in Moose Jaw, the team played their homes games at the Moose Jaw Arena and in Saskatoon at the Crescent Arena.
Note: W = Wins, L = Losses, T = Ties, GF= Goals For, GA = Goals Against, Pts = Points
